The Guesthouse apartment, accessed by stairs, features a bedroom with a queen bed, full bath, well-equipped kitchen, spacious dining room, and a living room with a desk, pull-out couch, flat-screen TV, high speed Internet, and full laundry. You can even catch a sunrise from the covered back porch, where you can enjoy a view of Spruce Mountain while grilling, reading, or relaxing. Please note: We do not accept pets and there is no smoking in the guesthouse.

Watch maple syrup being made in spring, visit with our show oxen when accompanied by Ray, and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing on our many miles of private trails, otherwise not open to the public.

Northfield is also home to five covered bridges, Norwich University, the oldest private military school in the nation, and a golf course. It is fifteen minutes south of the capital city of Montpelier, forty-five minutes from Sugarbush, Bolton Valley, and Stowe ski resorts, and an hour from Burlington International Airport.
